Description
A Japanese inspired tea set that I made for the 'Double Take In Wood' competition and exhibition in 2017
For this piece I won 'Best In Show' and 'People's Choice'
The tea box was made to hold a variety of different dried ingredients to make tea. These ingredients would sit in small air tight ceramic canisters that sit in the tray boxes. The user could than custom make their own tea. Thus creating art within art.
There is room to hold x 18 ceramic ingredient canisters in the tray boxes. There is also available storage under the tray boxes for other associated tea making items within the main box.
