CONTACT MAKER

Slightly new to the scene of custom timber furniture and joinery, WREKI is the creative, woodworking project of Lambert Ibanes, a 33 year old carpenter now turned designer and furniture maker.
Starting out his timber cutting days back in 2006 as an apprentice carpenter, Lambert has spent 15 years learning the ins and outs of building custom homes from the ground up. It wasn't until the end of his 3 year stint in Europe in 2013 that he realised he wanted to start fine tuning his carpentry skills and also broaden his horizons into the world of custom timber furniture.

Most afternoons and weekends were spent making functional and beautiful objects out of offcuts of timber from job sites. Slowly taking on small commissions for people, with each elevating his skill set and passion for the craft.
After 6 years of this WREKI started to become more than just a hobby, it was a way of life.
Finally realising that his potential proved worthy he has set out to follow the path that he has dreamed of for so long, launching his website and business in 2020.

As for now Lambert is focusing primarily on custom based commissions, providing hand drawn designs to the process.
in saying that if you see something you like on his page these can be re made to suit your home.

Thank you for your time :)
