After 15 years in the hospitality industry, Adrian took the plunge into a new career path. He completed the Certificate IV in Fine Furniture Making and Design at Sturt Wood School in Mittagong, learning from some of the best teachers in the Industry. Shortly after that 500 Workshop was started, the name being a reference to Adrian’s father, a mechanic by trade who was obsessed with restoring early models of the Fiat 500.
With a huge range of mass produced (and often short lived) pieces of furniture available these days, 500 Workshop aims to produce well made items that will last a lifetime. Using high quality materials and hardware, the piece you are looking for can be made specifically to your requirements, or can be reproduced from previous works.
Primarily working with timber, Adrian likes to incorporate a range of materials such as Brass, Fabrics and Glass. A wide variety of commissions have been completed, from chopping boards to a Commercial Fitout
Adrian currently operates his business from his workshop in Mullumbimby.
